Sign Vandalism Can Be A Killer

Folks hitting the highways for the holidays may want to pay close attention to those road signs you pass. It's especially true this time of year, when many of those signs are shot full of holes by vandals. Sign vandalism is a big safety hazard, according to the department of transportation, which says it spent more than 3 and a half million dollars just last year to fix up signs that were shot, spray painted or knocked down. Their biggest concern is that vital signs, like stop signs, might be missed.
