Feeding the Less Fortunate on Thanksgiving Day

While everyone sits around their table to enjoy an nice Thanksgiving feast, some in our area may not be as lucky to have any food on their table.

To make sure that doesn't happen, volunteers at the Joy Soup Kitchen in Greenville are preparing hundreds of Thanksgiving dinners for the less fortunate.

Joy Soup Kitchen co-founder and assistant coordinator Barbara Taft says they will feed over 500 people Thursday.

The Joy Soup Kitchen begins serving their Thanksgiving meal Thursday beginning at 11 a.m.
