Foul Language May Land Student in Jail

Using profanity at school may land a North Carolina high school student behind bars. Glenn Gattis of Wilmington is charged with disorderly conduct for calling his teacher a derogatory name. The 17-year-old says he used foul language when he got in trouble for being late for class. Deputies working as school resource officers cited Gattis for using language meant to provoke violence. He was suspended for three days and faces up to 30-days in jail.
