Voting for Change

The city of Greenville is trying to raise some much needed funds to help cover the cost of future growth. To do that, members of "Bonds for a Growing Greenville" are urging voters to vote yes on four separate revitalization and improvement bonds they say will bring in over $20,000,000. The money will go for street improvements, both downtown and West Greenville revitalization, and storm water drainage. The city will pay the bond back over a seven-year period. The project this bond is intended to pay for falls in line with all the improvements East Carolina University is doing to both the main campus, and western medical campus.
