Hurricane Noel Shuts Down State Ferries

Winds from Hurricane Noel have shut down three of the state's ferries today.

The Currituck-Knotts Island Ferry shut down at 9 a.m., while at noon the Cedar Island-Ocracoke and Ocracoke-Swan Quarter ferries stopped their service.

At this point the Hatteras-Ocracoke Ferry is still running.
