Dealing With Suicide

Suicide is the third leading cause of death for young people ages 14 to 24. And it's something several schools in Eastern Carolina have already had to deal with this school year, including East Carolina University and D.H. Conley High School.

Officials with Tideland Mental Health in Washington say teens very often give off signs, especially to their peers, that something is wrong. Mental health officials say some of the warning signs include drastic changes in behavior, eating habits, and discussion about the afterlife and death.
