2 Men Charged With More Than 100 Felony Counts In Jacksonville

Police say two men are in jail facing more than 100 felony charges each in connection with a wave of thefts and break-ins in two counties.

Detective Britt Carter of the Pender County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Reginald Bernard Hogan Junior of Jacksonville and 26-year-old Jesse Brandon Rodriguez of Newport were arrested earlier this week.

The men are accused of stealing iPods, sunglasses, compact disks, cell phones, checks and cash.

They're also are accused of breaking into a pickup truck owned by Swansboro Police Chief Ed Parrish and taking $9.

The men face 118 charges in Onslow County and 54 in Pender County including larceny, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of cocaine and forgery.
