Wayne County deputies are looking for a sheep thief who was caught on camera.
It happened early Sunday morning at the Charles B. Aycock Birthplace in northern Wayne County. The sheriff's department says the man took just one sheep from the pen on Governor Aycock Road.
Deputies say they've had sheep stolen from the historic site before and this time a surveillance camera caught the thief. He's described as a man with dark hair, approximately 5'8" to 5'10" tall, and weighing 190 to 210 pounds.
