Kinston Gets Ready To Celebrate Veteran's Day

First Responders and Emergency Workers is the focus of a monument under constructed in Kinston. And its located at the site for this years Veteran's day salute to service men and women.

With Veteran's Day two weeks away, members of the organization, "Salute" are making preparations for a weekend celebration for veterans of all wars.

This monument called--The 9/11 Emergency Services Memorial at the Neuseway Veteran's Park, is a local fixture for those who died rescuing victims, just like our war veterans.
Eric Cantu, served in the Vietnam war and is the chairman of "Salute" and says,
"..It gives us a broad encompassment to be able to show our honor, our thanks to those individuals who have taken the time to serve our country."
