Authorities said they were looking for a connection between a mother and daughter and the man believed to have killed them in a murder-suicide in Brunswick County.
Sheriff Ronald Hewett said Saturday that authorities had found no motive for the murders of 29-year-old Angel Nicole Hutton Williams and her 5-year-old daughter, Aysa Sabrina Jackson.
Their whose bodies were found Friday in their mobile home in their separate bedrooms. The body of 23-year-old Joshua Cain Outlaw also was found in living area of the home.
Hewett said all three were shot with the same gun and that authorities did find a handgun.
The sheriff also said that Outlaw lived near Williams and her daughter.
