The Aegis calling center in Rocky Mount has announced its shutting down. Company officials say the 84 people who work there will be out of a job when they center closes on October 22. Officials say the jobs are relocating to Joplin, Missouri. Aegis is a marketing services company with eleven customer contact centers across the country.
