Home Invasion/Shooting Prompts Action On ECU Campus

Tuesday's home invasion and shooting of East Carolina University student, Drew Daly isn't far from the minds of the community.

Friday afternoon, both law enforcement and the university held a community forum to address the many safety concerns of the students who live off campus and in the area of the shooting. Attending the meeting was a friend and next door neighbor of the victim who says he's now fearful to live close to ECU.

Greenville police chief William Anderson announced plans to request a curfew ordinance for the city. The department also informed the community of efforts to step up extra patrols in the area.
