From Famine To Feast

Showers continue in the east Friday putting a dent in the drought.

By 6:00am Friday 4.86 inches of rainfall so far in Hatteras...just shy of four in Ahoskie and Greenville more than three inches. More moisture pulling into the area throughout the day.

Heavier rainfall for Friday in the central part of the State with showers moving back into Eastern Carolina in the afternoon and overnight. Rain throughout the day Saturday with clearing in the afternoon.

Temperatures in the mid 70's with the cooler air holding off until Sunday.
