More jobs are coming to a Beaufort County business. Coeur Medical Assembly, just outside of Washington, will expand its current facility. Coeur will receive $200,000 from the state.

Other agencies will also contribute to the expansion, including the Beaufort County Committee of 100, which is borrowing 1,400,000 to buy the building from the previous owners who were leasing it to Coeur.

Coeur Incorporated processes medical injection molds and syringe components. The plant currently employs 65 people. They hope to expand to fill jobs for at least 40 more over the next few years.
