Eastern Carolina's 27th Goodwill Donation center and store officially opened its doors Thursday in Kinston.
The grand opening took place Thursday morning and it didn't take long for shoppers to indulge in all the bargains.
Store organizers say they're most proud of employing people with disabilities to operate the center. Thursday afternoon we spoke with store utility worker, Robert Brown, who says he came out of retirement to work at the Goodwill.
The new Goodwill Store is open seven days a week. Kniston leaders say the store will not only bring more jobs to the area, but will also be a huge economic boost for the city.
