Fall Colors Explodes In Western North Carolina

The fall color season continues to unfold in our state, making for prime leaf peeping.

Vibrant colors are exploding in the leaves in Asheville. Grandfather Mountain is also a stop you'll want to make if you travel west, as nearly all the trees there have turned, filling the sky as well as the valleys with spectacular colors.

The scene in Boone is just as vivid, with fire-colored red and orange leaves providing leaf peepers with a gorgeous array. The fall foliage is expected to last for just one more week.
