Despite the rain, purple and gold spirit swelled in Greenville Saturday morning with the ECU Homecoming Parade.

GO PIRATES! was a popular phrase, as floats, the Marching Pirates and emergency vehicles moved along the parade route down Fifth Street.

Folks at home had a front row seat, as WITN streamed the parade LIVE on witntv.com.

I am very disappointed that we have to watch the parade on the internet! What family with little children can sit around a computer to watch the parade?!?! This is the first time we haven't made it to the parade and planned to watch it on tv. This stinks!
