Former Officer Charged

The Grifton Police Officer that turned in his badge following a complaint he supplied alcohol to minors has been charged.
Alcohol Law Enforcement officials say Grifton Police Officer Todd Cahoon has been charged with four counts of aiding and abetting underage persons with possessing alcohol and one count of contributing to the delinquency to a minor. The case has been turned over to the Lenoir County District Attorney's office.
