Police Hope Presence Will Deter Crime

Wilson Police have moved into a neighborhood named for its intersection, but known now for violence. Wilson Police moved 20 officers of its 110 member force to a new station in the Five Points Area. Their goals are to deter crime with more police presence and fight crime with community help. And after being in the area for a month now, police say residents are already stepping up and reporting crime.
