State health officials warn there could be a pandemic flu outbreak this year.
That's when there are epidemics of severe infection with a new virus around the world. There have only been three flu pandemics in the 20th century, the latest in 1968. The State Health Department has developed a plan to deal with the situation. The news comes on the same day half of America's vaccine supply is suddenly gone because of a contamination problem.
