Highway Patrol Releases Records Detailing Officer Punishments

State officials have released a list of State Highway Patrol internal affairs cases prepared for a court case and one official says he wants to defend the patrol's integrity.

The patrol's reputation has come under fire as cases of trooper
sexual misconduct have come to light.

State Secretary of Crime Control and Public Safety Bryan Beatty
defended the actions of most of the 1,800 state troopers. Beatty
says he released the list to advance the patrol's integrity.
