Court Date Rescheduled For Chief's Son

The court date has been rescheduled for the son of New Bern's police chief, who was due in court on drug charges Tuesday.

Christopher Palombo, 22 years-old, will now head to court on November 19th.

The Craven County sheriff's office charged Palombo with 24 drug charges after arresting him at Copperfield apartments earlier this month.

Palombo and another suspect were charged with intent to deliver marijuana, sell and deliver cocaine and carrying a concealed weapon.
