Four men have been charged with shooting of an East Carolina student early this morning.
Greenville police arrested 20 year old Kendrick Little, 18 year old Marcus Bell, 19 year old Benny Clark and 17 year old Keyvon Clifton, all of Greenville.
Authorities say the men forced their way into a party held on East 4th Street, armed with guns and robbed the people.
Police say ECU student Drew Daly was shot twice in the chest. He's listed in serious condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
All four are charged with one count of 1st degree burglary, 10 counts of armed robbery, 10 counts of 1st degree kidnapping and a count of attempted armed robbery.
Detectives say Little has been identified as the person who shot Daly. He's also charged with attempted murder.
Police are continuing to interviewing the four, who admit they are affiliated with a local gang. Detectives are trying to determine whether these four are involved with other armed robberies and home invasions in the Greenville area.
Detectives are attemting to identify other suspects who ran from the scene and they expect additional arrests.
