It’s October 3, and if you haven't flipped your calendar from September, you may have forgotten that Halloween is this month. But you may be the only person to forget because sales are already up for the holiday.
People are already coming into local Halloween stores and purchasing the latest in spooky technology and creepy creations. Lisa Cartwright, owner of Halloween Express says, that it’s the house decorations that are selling now, and that the Halloween costumes start going fast during the last two weeks of this month. However, she says, the weather can actually improve her sales figures.
Store owners are still expecting another big Halloween holiday this year since it’s on a Sunday and not in the middle of the work week.
