Many North Carolinians aren't doing enough to keep themselves healthy, especially when it comes to preventable diseases. Those were the findings Blue Cross, Blue Shield of North Carolina released Wednesday at its Second Annual Preventive Health Summit at the Hilton in Greenville.
Findings show only 12 percent of Blue Cross members actually get regular checkups, something that can save your life. The report also found 55 percent of Blue Cross members are either overweight or obese.
