Parents and kids in Greenville were among those to across the country to protest President Bush's veto of the children's healthcare bill, known as S-CHIP.
The group moveon.org organized the protest on Greenville Boulevard, and hundreds of others locations around the nation. They said they wanted to send a message to Congressman Walter Jones, who voted against the bill, to override the President's veto.
President Bush says he favors an S-CHIP bill that helps those who need it, but says the one he vetoed did not focus on the children who need healthcare.
