N.C. Tree Picked For President's Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree which will go to Washington next month was shown off Tuesday in Laurel Springs, North Carolina.

Joe and Linda Freeman, owners of Mistletoe Meadows, will present the Fraser Fir for display in the Blue Room at the White House.

The Freemans are the winners of the National Christmas Tree Association's contest, which allows them to present the tree for the president's residence.

The tree will be harvested in November and taken to Washington for the ceremony.
