Did The U.S. Senate Debate Help You Make Up Your Mind?

The two candidates battling for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards squared off Monday night in the only scheduled debate before the general election in November.

Democrat Erskine Bowles and Republican U.S. Congressman Richard Burr had a chance to give their views on issues ranging from the economy, education, healthcare and the war on terrorism. But for many, the debates left some people we talked to still undecided.

Others said they were still voting for the candidate they had planned on voting for from the beginning. Other issues discussed in the debate were the environment, immigration, and gay marriage.
