The deadline to register in the November 2nd election is a little more than a week away. You have until October 8 to register, and there are several ways to get it done.
The best one stop way to register is to go to your county's Board of Elections office. You can find it listed in the government pages of your phone book. You can also have that office mail you a registration form, and mail that to your local elections office. Libraries and high schools also have forms you can fill out and mail to the elections office.
For more information on registering to vote, go on line to the State Board of Elections at sboe.state.nc.us.
