Heading Back to Florida to Help Out

Several Greenville Utilities Commission employees are headed for Florida. With their bags packed and equipment ready to roll, these employees are on a mission.

For the next two weeks, they will work on restoring power to thousands of residents and businesses in the Fort Pierce area of Florida. For some, this is the second trip to the hurricane ravaged state in the past few weeks.

Recently, the majority of the 28 man crew spent 14 days in Florida trimming trees and stringing up new power lines.
