Officials say a man rescued from the waters off Nags Head last week has died.
Stephen L. Tacket, 58-years-old of Hazard, Kentucky was pulled from the water Wednesday by a Nags Head Ocean Rescue life guard, where he was unconscious and not breathing.
Tacket was transported to the Outer Banks hospital where he later died.
