Fire Prevention Week Comes To An End With A Kid Clinic

Fire Prevention Awareness Week came to an end today, but not without one last opportunity to teach kids about fire safety.

High above the festivities at Lowe's in Washington, folks arrived to get safety tips, blood pressure checks and information with the use of the fire safety house.

Firefighters from Washington and Chocowinity held their annual kids clinic today.

Crystal Marriner says their main goal is educating in a entertaining way.

Kids also built their own wooden fire truck to take home as a souvenir, plus goodie bags dealing with fire, ems, and law enforcement.
