It was an exciting finish to a very big week at Camp Lejeune, as a playoff decided the champion late Sunday afternoon of the Marine Corps Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament.

Duke and NBA great Jack Marin lost a one hole playoff to hockey veteran Donny Anderson. He joined team champs Shane Rawley and Paul Krause at Paradise Point's 18th green. But, as the celebrities found out, the 4 day event was less about golf, and more about meeting one-on-one with military families and the community, a very special treat for those sports and entertainment stars.

The event was hosted by the military base, community sponsors, including WITN-7, and hundreds of volunteers, who included our own Sports Director Billy Weaver who announced Sunday morning's tee times, and our "Country Rover," Alan Covey.
