We'll you couldn't have asked for better weather for an amazing good time in Williamston Saturday for the 8th Annual Carolina Country Stampede.
The festival had all kinds of arts and crafts, food, rides, games, and live music. However, the music at this country stampede had a mission. Seven contestants competed in the 43rd Annual Colgate Country Music contest and as festival organizers say, its a great chance for the winner.
There was a local celebrity there Saturday. Our very own Cheif Meteorologist Marvin Daugherty was the emcee for the country music contest Saturday afternoon.
