The 47th Annual Lenoir County Fair is going to be bigger and better than ever when it kicks off in just over one week.
Billboard signs advertising the fair can be found all over the county. Organizers say this year will feature new rides, live music, a rodeo, and even a "figure 8" demolition derby.
The fair also showcases the agriculture, and industrial aspects of the county. The fair is sponsored by the Lenoir County Jaycees and begins on Oct. 4.
