An Artful Way to Teach Students

The town of Nags Head has amassed an impressive collection of regional artwork. Now, Manteo High School is working the collection into its art class curriculums.

Teacher Robin York took some of her students to town hall to show how different artists can take the same subject matter and turn it into completely different showpieces.

Teachers tell WITN that the town spends an average of $20,000 per year from windfall funds to build up the collection.
