Sixty criminal charges in Carteret County and counting.
That's what lawmen say 27-year-old Jason Wayne Gilliken faces. He's already been charged with two armed robberies in Carteret County and a shooting and armed robbery in Craven County. Jacksonville Police say they're charging him for the robbery of a restaurant this weekend.
For area lawmen and convenience store clerks, Gillikin's arrest means a collective sigh of relief. For one clerk, the only detail she needs is that the suspect is in custody.
A Carteret County sheriffs deputy chased Gillikin's car down late Saturday night.
