Authorities Say Road Rage Led to Shooting

A road rage incident ended with a shooting in Rocky Mount Saturday morning.

Police arrested Thomas Williams after they say he shot Alan Williams at the intersection of Nashville Road and South Church Street in Rocky Mount. The two men are not related.

Thomas Williams is charged with having a stolen firearm. Alan Williams was taken to the hospital.
