Eastern Carolina State Representative Chosen By Governor For OLF Study Group

State Representative William Wainwright of Craven and Lenoir counties has been appointed by Governor Easley to be a part of his Outlying Landing Field study group.

Easley made the announcement Monday. He says Wainwright's experience and interests of the community make him a great addition to the OLF study group.

Wainwright is from Havelock and is serving his 9th term as a democrat in the state house. Last month, the Navy agreed to reopen consideration of information about possible alternative sites. The study group is reviewing all aspects of the OLF.
