Pumpkins And Farmers Suffer From Dry Weather

It's pumpkin season, with Halloween just around the corner. But farmers say this autumn heatwave is hurting their bottom line.

We stopped by White's Farm in Vanceboro and spoke with a farmer about their less then stellar pumpkin patch. Glory White and her son, Cody say they've been struggling with the quality of their pumpkins due to soaring temperatures and drought conditions.

White says her pumpkins should be three times the size they are this year. Due to the drought and heat, White expects her strawberries to suffer as well.
