Arrests Made In Duplin County Cabbie Murder

Duplin County authorities says they're made three arrests in the murder of a taxi cab driver.

Jesse Faison, Jr. was found dead in his cab back on May 25th on Cool Springs Road in southern Duplin County.

Police today announced three people have been charged with Faison's robbery, kidnapping and murder.

Charged are Anthony Kenan, Jr. 18 of Teachey, Rochael Dobson, 18 of Wallace, and Brandon Rice, 20 of Rose Hill.

Deputies say the trio face charges of 1st degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, 1st degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon

Dobson is in the Sampson County jail, with the two men are in the Duplin County jail.

The sheriff said continuing information coming from the community, along with information from Warsaw police, the State Bureau of Investigation & the Sampson County Sheriff's Office helped break the case.

Authorities say Dobson and Rice are also tied to unrelated murder in Sampson County.
