A Robeson County prosecutor says the State Bureau of Investigation is looking into allegations that four county officers had sex with a female who was in custody.
District Attorney Johnson Britt says the investigation was initiated by the internal affairs office.
The officials involved are two former courthouse bailiffs, a jailer and an employee of the county pretrial release program.
Britt declined to release details because the investigation is ongoing.
