Lonestar Closing Eastern Carolina Locations

Officials with a popular restaurant chain says it's closing down four of its locations in the state, including three here in Eastern Carolina.

Lonestar Steakhouse says locations in Jacksonville, Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, and Raleigh will lock their doors at the end of the day Monday.

Howard Terry, Vice President of Marketing for Lonestar says the restaurants are being closed due to under performance.

A few years ago the Greenville location was shut down.

The Texas-based operator says there are 13 restaurants in the chain that will remain open in the Tar Heel State. In all, 19 locations across the country are closing.
