It's a timely event - sexual assault awareness week at East Carolina University.
With recent reported assault and rape cases on campus, the university is trying to create awareness for their students. Tywanna Jefferies, who is heading up the program, says the weeklong event offers programs and events to help give students a sense of support they need in case of an emergency.
