Donation To Help Lost Colony Replenish Costumes

A quarter of a million dollar donation could go a long way in helping the Lost Colony on the Outer Banks.

A fire at the Lost Colony on Roanoke Island on September 10th destroyed hundreds of costumes used in the play.

Some were decades old. The Dare County tourism board gave the Lost Colony 250-thousand dollars to help replenish the theater's costumes.

It's not clear what started the destructive fire, though investigators say, there's no sign of arson.
