A family is waiting for test results after they say a four-year-old boy found and played with a used condom in an Atlanta hotel, according to multiple media reports.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting the family checked into the Wyndham Garden Hotel in downtown Atlanta three weeks ago after visiting an amusement park.
The grandmother told the newspaper the hotel room was not stocked properly, so they called the front desk for towels and soap, got room service and then went to bed, as they were tired after being at the park.
The grandmother told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution she later found her grandson playing with a used condom he found in the bed.
Multiple media reports suggest the boy put the condom in his mouth.
The grandmother went on to tell the newspaper her grandson became ill, and she has taken him to the doctor for tests, including those for STDs. The grandmother told the AJC they are waiting for the results.
The family has hired an attorney.
The hotel has not yet commented on the situation.
