The first ever Outer Banks *Bull-Nanza* rustled up cowboys from all over Eastern Carolina this weekend!

The sanctioned sporting event in the Currituck County town of Powells Point pit some of the surliest bulls in the South against professional riders and it was all for charity.

The bull rodeo was hosted by the Outer Banks Professional Firefighters Association, with proceeds going to local charity and fire safety education.

Riders came from Jacksonville, Greenville and Kill Devil Hills to take part in the two-day event. Organizers hope to hold this event annually.
