Residents in Washington are marking the anniversary of the attacks on America with a special church ceremony.
The Second Baptist Church off Highway 264 in Washington held its annual 9-11 reflection ceremony Friday night, honoring American heroes who fought and died on that day and also those who protect Eastern Carolina.
The 9-11 tribute ceremony will have an encore presentation at the Second Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Saturday.
