The third anniversary of the attacks on America on Saturday will certainly prompt stringent security this weekend across our country.

It's large crowds of people the ECU police department is gearing up for this weekend, at the Pirate's first home football game. As fans prepare to tailgate before the game, lawmen will be out in full force, especially after a shooting incident at NC State University last Saturday. Law enforcement officers from several counties, as well as state and federal officials, will be on hand.

A hazard response team will also be on hand inside the stadium during the game.
