A Nash County couple is in jail after deputies say they seized more than seven pounds of cocaine.
Kenneth Whitley and his wife Gwendolyn are facing cocaine trafficking charges after their arrest Wednesday by the Nash County Sheriff's Office and State Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities say yesterday's arrest ended a four month long investigation.
In addition to the seven pounds of coke, officers say they also seized a pound of pot, three guns and approximately $44,000 in cash. Officers say the street value of the seized drugs is estimated at $825,000.
Kenneth Whitley is being held under a $5,000,000 bond, while his wife remains locked up on a $2,000,000 bond.
